Our agenda covered a wide range of accomplishments, demonstrating our commitment to energy efficiency and safety. Notably, we delved into the innovative solutions that have been implemented to overcome significant challenges, paving the way for a more sustainable and secure future in European transportation. This meeting marked a pivotal moment in our journey towards an eco-friendly and safer transport infrastructure across Europe.\u00a0Key presentations highlighted the project&#8217;s innovative approach to road wear mapping, offering unique insights for road maintenance planning and automated vehicle routing.<\/p><p>Key accomplishments of the project were showcased, and the team&#8217;s expertise and dedication were evident in the detailed discussions and the depth of analysis presented.<\/p><p>The review panel provided valuable feedback, acknowledging the project&#8217;s impact on the practical application of EGNSS-enabled Smart Road Infrastructure Usage and Maintenance enhancing energy efficiency and safety on European roadways. In particular, the execution of the ESRIUM infrastructure-assisted automated driving solution in Work Package 5\u00a0 (<em>Proof of Concept and In-Vehicle <\/em><em>Validation)<\/em> and the ramifications of EGNSS-based localization and C-ITS routing recommendations garnered the attention of the reviewers. Additionally, the outcomes of the user acceptance test in Upper Austria yielded intriguing insights into how users embraced the ESRIUM solutions we crafted. Regarding willingness to pay for bad surface information, 14 truck drivers strongly disagreed, and 3 disagreed. Overall, 24 out of 27 rated the road operators&#8217; information as highly trustworthy, with 25 out of 27 willing to use it. Road operators viewed the ESRIUM system as quite useful, indicating a high potential for user acceptance.<\/a><\/p><\/li><li><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/wolfgang-schildorfer-04226612\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Impact Assessment on Road Safety, Efficiency, and Environment at EU-Level:<\/em><\/strong> Economic benefits for EU-27 Countries could reach a total of 55.8 million euros annually.
