ESRIUM took part in the VI-Grade EMEA ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/em>on 23-25 May 2023. The kick off was a traditional “ice-breaker” gathering on the evening of May 23rd at 6 pm.<\/p>

The summit was organized by VI-Grade, a leading provider of real-time simulation and professional driving simulator solutions that accelerate product development across the transportation industry. <\/a><\/p>

VI-Grade EMEA ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit gathered executive-level engineering managers and experienced design engineers from various sectors, including automotive OEMs, suppliers, motorsport teams, universities, and research centers. This event is primarily focused on engaging European and international customers, prospects, and followers.<\/p>

During the Summit, attendees had the opportunity to listen to renowned industry speakers who are at the forefront of their fields. The program featured informative sessions and presentations on application-specific driving simulators, providing valuable insights into how leading players in the automotive industry leverage VI-grade’s simulation, driving simulators, and Hardware-in-the-Loop technologies. These cutting-edge tools help accelerate new vehicle development and bring us closer to the vision of achieving “zero prototypes.”<\/p>

This gathering set the tone for the following days, creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. Attendees had the unique opportunity to witness VI-grade’s driving simulators in action. There were six simulators specifically tailored to discipline-oriented applications, enabling participants to experience the power and capabilities of these advanced technologies firsthand.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On behalf of ESRIUM, Patrick Luley, Head of DIGITAL TWIN LAB, R&D Coordinator Automated Driving at JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH<\/span><\/a> represented the project at Joanneum booth, which was exhibiting the digital twin lab.<\/p>

ESRIUM results on digital twins of road surfaces are highly relevant in the field of driving simulation. Joanneum Reserach presented the ESRIUM digital twin to the interested community using best-in-class driving simulators of VI-Grade.<\/strong><\/p>

The Summit targeted executive-level engineering managers and experienced design engineers from various sectors, including automotive OEMs, suppliers, motorsport teams, universities, and research centres. This diverse attendee base allowed us to connect with professionals from different domains, expanding our network and fostering potential collaborations. Moreover, the event featured industry-leading speakers who shared their expertise and knowledge on application-specific driving simulators and simulation technologies. The presentations and sessions provided us with valuable insights into how major players in the automotive industry are utilizing VI-grade’s simulation tools, driving simulators, and Hardware-in-the-Loop technologies to accelerate new vehicle development. This knowledge is instrumental in enhancing our own engineering practices and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements.<\/p>
